loving the new wheels man, are they 8" wide on the back? +30 or +35 offset?

They're 8" wide in the front, and 9" wide in the rear. Both are +35mm offset.

Is it wrong that I would much prefer the MR2... but wish it had the longitudinal boxer in it?
FRS/GT86 should have been a new MR2, a Subaru-powered Toyota-sold junior-cayman.
BRZ should have been a coupe body-style of the new WRX.

jaysus! Does it follow the camber at all?
I've just stalked your kinja and realized I've missed all your previous posts on these wheels.
I'm still running the stock 1990 14inch wheels. At least only until I get my redundancy payout from my old job.

I like the older older (aw11) Mr2's more, but your mr2 is purdy.

No, not in my opinion. I could have a brz, but I still have kept my Mr2, so I agree in some ways. The NA boxer 4 in the BRZ almost makes as much power as my 3SGTE without a turbocharger. It's a nice engine.
There's still hope for a new MR2, can't say it won't be ugly like the last one though.

What do you mean by that? I'm running -1 degree in the back, in the front I'm not cambered. I'll probably run just a little bit for the look and cornering performance, but I'm going to avoid eating tires with excessive camber.
I was running my stock '93 wheels until I needed new tires, so I went ahead and replaced the wheels and tires.

I'm a fan of the AW11 myself. Thanks.

oh! I mean follows the road camber, when I bought my old Bathurst MR2 it had 18*8"s with super low profile tyres, I was always having to adjust to keep it straight on a cambered road as it'd always want to follow the curve. Tramlining is another term for it. Though that could have been the weight of the wheels as much as anything.
They were an inch wider than what I was legally allowed anyway so I sold them to a guy with a 300zx and got some 17x7's and ran 215's on the front and 225's on the back.
The state I live in now doesn't care about rim width so long as they don't stick out and don't rub on anything. I'm guessing you're running 235/45's and 255/40's?

Oh! Ok, I understand what you meant now. Honestly, these wheels are better about tracking straight than my old tires/wheels, and don't require much if any adjustment. I'm running 215/40 and 235/40, for now. I'll probably go to wider rubber in the rear for my next set of tires, and possibly the front, but I had to go smaller in order to fit them without rubbing. I'll probably roll my fenders eventually to fix that.

yeah you could have heaps of room to go wider tyres on the back. the fronts are limited by your suspension clearance.
I've been reading up on the forums again this morning and it looks like you'll struggle to get anything bigger than 225/40R17 on the front anyway.
I'm patiently waiting for a set of R32 GTST and GTR rims to come up for sale. They look sah good: (image from google search... looks like it's from New Zealand?)

Those are some nice looking wheels. I can't wait to lower mine a tad, I think it'll improve aesthetics a lot.
